NYEPI DAY (SILENCE DAY) TERMS:
During Nyepi Day, the following rules (called Catur Brata Penyepian) will be implemented in all areas of Bali::
- NO TRAVELING (AMATI LELUNGAN):
- Check-in and check-out will not be possible on Nyepi Day. It is recommended to check-in a maximum of 1 day before Nyepi Day
- Ngurah Rai International Airport will be closed on Nyepi Day
- Nobody is allowed on the streets
- NO FIRE OR LIGHTS (AMATI GENI):
- Indoor lights will be dimmed on Nyepi Day
- There will be no outdoor lighting on Nyepi Day
- NO WORK OR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES (AMATI KARYA):
- No activities are allowed on the beach or outside of the resort area
- NO HAVING FUN/MAKING NOISE (AMATI LELANGUAN):
- The Hindu Balinese fast during this day, but hotels are exempt from this rule in order to serve the guests
- Please try not to laugh or speak loudly even inside the hotel rooms

NEW YEAR’S CELEBRATION
No Check-out on 31st December. Check-in is allowed. Guests are requested to plan their stay accordingly and avoid check-out on 31st December.

RESERVATIONS/BOOKING:
Online reservation is recommended. It is the fastest & safest way for the following reasons:
- Instant Confirmation: You receive immediate confirmation upon booking via booking engine.
- Secure Booking: The booking engine uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to encrypt all information, ensuring your data’s security.
- Prompt Response: All reservation inquiries will be replied to within 2 working days.
Amendments to Reservations:
- Reservation changes can be made with prior notice. The rate is dynamic and depends on the new preferred staying dates.
- Confirmation of a changed reservation is subject to room and rates availability.
EXTRA PERSON(S):
- Extra bed will be charged for the additional person. Please note that a maximum of one extra bed is allowed in each room. This policy is depending on the rates/packages chosen.
- In Mandira Club Suite, the day bed can be converted into an extra bed to accommodate an extra person.
- An extra charge for the 3rd person (adult or child) applies to each room booked. The rate is dynamic and depends on the staying dates, including the extra bed and breakfast. Please reach out to our team for further assistance. This policy is depending on the rates/packages chosen.
CHILDREN:
- As the parents, guardians, or chaperones of children, guest assume personal and legal responsibility for them and must provide continuous supervision. For safety reasons, kindly refrain from leaving children unattended in guest rooms or allowing them to wander the hotel property without supervision.
- Infants are classified as children aged 0 to 4 years old, while children are aged 5 to 12 years old. Individuals aged 13 years and above are considered adults
- Baby cots are available at no cost upon advance request. Please notify our reservation department in advance to arrange for one
- Babysitting service is available at an additional cost. Please inform our reservation department in advance if you wish to utilize this service

GROUP RESERVATIONS:
- A booking of a minimum of 5 rooms will be considered a group reservation. For further assistance, please contact our team directly via email at info@balimandira.com.
GUARANTEED RESERVATIONS:
- Please note that each deposit policy will correspond to the rates or packages chosen.
- The credit card used to make a reservation should be valid for the entire stay. Guest may be required to present the credit card used to make the reservation upon check-in at the hotel.
- If you are booking on behalf of someone else, Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa will contact you to arrange third-party billing.
CANCELLATION & NO-SHOW:
The cancellation policy is determined based on the rates and promotion selected during the reservation process and as outlined in the confirmation letter.
- If the guest does not arrive and check-in without giving any prior notification until the day of arrival, it will be considered a no-show. The Terms and Conditions for no-show guests will vary depending on the package/rates booked.
- In the event where the guest is considered a no-show on the day of arrival, the hotel will attempt to contact the guest to confirm the stay. If the guest cannot be reached or does not respond within 24 hours after the check-in time, the hotel reserves the right to release the booked room(s), even if the guest has paid the deposit or full amount.
- In the event guests cannot be accommodated due to hotel overbooking or an unforeseen circumstance, and the hotel is unable to hold rooms consistent with this room hold policy, the hotel will attempt to accommodate guests, at its expense, at a comparable hotel in the area for the oversold night(s), and will pay for transportation to that hotel.
PAYMENT:
- All payments must be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) in accordance with Indonesian government regulations. Rates stated in foreign currency will be charged at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of the transaction.
- Accepted credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, Diners Club. We will confidentially use the information for further processing.
- The deposit could also be transferred to Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa at Legian with a copy of the payment document to be emailed to info@balimandira.com
TRANSPORTATION:
- Airport transfer is available at additional cost, unless included in room, accommodating a maximum of 4 people per car.
- It is recommended to make advance bookings at least 72 hours prior to arrival. Requests within 72 hours are not guaranteed and are subject to availability.

CHECK-IN:
- To check in at Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa, guests must be at least 21 years old. For security and fraud prevention, guests are obligated to confirm their identity by presenting a valid government-issued photo identification (Passport and/or Identification Card (IC)) during check-in.
- The credit card used to make a reservation should be valid for the entire stay. Please present the credit card used to make this reservation upon check-in at the hotel.
- Check-in time is 3 PM.
- Early check-in depends on availability and cannot be guaranteed.
CHECK-OUT:
- Check-out time is 12:00 PM.
- For late check-out until 6 PM, an additional charge will apply, and rates will depend on the extended date. The hotel will only be able to confirm room availability one day before check-out.
- Check-out after 6 PM is considered as a one-night stay.
SPECIAL REQUESTS:
- We will do our best to fulfill special requests, such as a particular floor or room number, adjacent rooms, roll-away beds, etc., upon your arrival. These requests are noted on reservations, and we strive to accommodate them. However, please be aware that we are unable to guarantee them.
PETS:
- Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa does not provide accommodations for pets. Pets are NOT allowed.
NOISE & BEHAVIOR:
- The use of electrical and/or electronic musical instruments in hotel rooms, creating noise that may disturb the peace of other in-house guests, is strictly prohibited.

VISITORS:
- All visitors must be accompanied by a registered guest at all times. As a registered guest, you assume responsibility for your visitors throughout their stay. Visitors are restricted from using hotel facilities such as the swimming pool and kids club. Should a visitor wish to use these facilities, the registered guest must seek permission from the hotel/management, and additional fees may apply.
SMOKING AREA:
- All of our rooms are non-smoking. However, if the room has a balcony or outdoor seating area, feel free to use that space. We also have designated smoking areas scattered throughout the resort. For further assistance, please ask our team directly.
FRUIT:
- Durian is prohibited in the hotel room.
HOUSEKEEPING:
- To ensure a consistently clean and secure hotel environment for all our guests, we offer daily housekeeping services from 09:00 – 16:30. If you have preferred time, please contact our housekeeping team.
- Each room has its own mini bar. Should you require to have it stocked please contact our reception.
DO-NOT DISTURB SIGN & ACCESS TO THE ROOM:
- Please put the “DO NOT DISTURB” sign on your door knob to ensure nobody from our staff will enter your room and disturb you.
- Management has the right to enter a room marked ‘Do Not Disturb’ for valid reasons such as emergencies to ensure compliance with our Hotel Policies/House Rules.
- In the case of suspected illegal activity, management may involve law enforcement for eviction assistance. Privacy rights end when Hotel Policies/House Rules are violated, allowing law enforcement immediate access to hotel property and rooms of evicted guests.
ROOM KEY/KEY CARD:
- Please ensure your room is locked before you leave the room.
- We kindly request all guests to return their room keycards to the Front Desk upon check-out.
HOTEL POLICIES:
In accordance with established rules, policies, and laws, the Management reserves the right to expel individuals who fail to adhere to the rules or engage in behavior that causes damage or disturbance.
FOOD DELIVERY:
- In the event that in-house guests order food from outside or through online platforms, delivery drivers or sellers are not allowed to enter the lobby area for safety reasons. Kindly request them to drop off deliveries at the security checkpoint, and guests can retrieve them personally.

PARKING AREA:
- For the guests’ convenience, the hotel has arranged parking in front of the hotel.
- The hotel takes no responsibility for any damage or loss of guests’ vehicles in the parking area.
- If guests rent or bring own motorcycles, please refrain from locking the motorcycle handlebars. This helps our security team move them easily in case the parking spaces are tight, and adjustments are needed.
GENERAL AREA:
- Entry into areas designated for hotel staff only is strictly prohibited.
SAFETY:
- Entrance with weapons, knives, bars, or sharp, dangerous objects is strictly prohibited.
- The safety of our guests, staff, and the facility is of utmost importance to us. Please refrain from bringing, using, or cooking in a room, including, but not limited to hot plates, open flames, barbecue grills, burners, or any other such items.
- Open fires, flames, inflammable materials, dangerous chemicals and fireworks are not allowed anywhere on the hotel property.
- Drones are not permitted within the resort without prior written approval from the Bali Mandira Management team. If guests wish to use a drone for photography or any other purpose, please seek permission by contacting the management in advance. This policy is in place to ensure the privacy and safety of our guests.
- Smoking or the use of tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, narcotics, or any substances prohibited by Indonesian law is strictly prohibited within our facility. The management reserves the right to take legal action if deemed necessary.
LOST & FOUND:
- Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa holds no responsibility for lost, misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. If guests discover they have left something valuable behind, please contact the Front Desk promptly via phone, email, or in person.
- Items found after departure will be collected, logged, and securely stored at the Hotel Safety Box.
- Every reasonable effort will be made to inform the guest about the found item, and we will endeavor to assist in returning your lost belongings.
WIFI:
- Complimentary Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the entire hotel. The password can be obtained at the Reception desk or found on your key card folder.

DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY
Guests are responsible for any damage, whether caused by deliberate, negligent, or reckless acts, to the room(s), hotel premises, or property, by you or anyone in your party, whether or not staying at the hotel during your visit. Bali Mandira Beach Resort & Spa reserves the right to retain guest credit card and/or debit card details, as presented at registration, or forfeit and charge or debit the credit/debit card with amounts it deems necessary to compensate for costs or expenses incurred due to the aforementioned. If damage is discovered after your departure, we reserve the right, and guests authorize us, to charge the guest’s credit or debit card for any incurred damage, including, but not limited to, property damage, missing or damaged items, smoking fees, cleaning fees, guest compensation, etc. We will attempt to address any damage internally before hiring specialists for repairs, minimizing costs to the guest.
